Senior Front-end Developer (React/TypeScript)
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Front-end Developer to join our team to help us drive innovation at BrainFinance. This role will involve the active development of several projects including a public-facing website and a custom React component library. The ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter, driven to learn new technologies and contribute to the success of the team.

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Front-end Developer to join our team to help us drive innovation at BrainFinance. This role will involve the active development of several projects including a public-facing website and a custom React component library. The ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter, driven to learn new technologies and contribute to the success of the team.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain, assess, and create Web sites using React with Typescript;
- Build reusable cross-platform components and front-end libraries for future use;
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code;
- Offer constructive and respectful feedback during code reviews;
- Research and promote design patterns and practices that fit our technical challenges.
What You’ll Be Bringing to The Team:
- Over 6 years of experience in front-end development, React, JavaScript and Typescript;
- Strong HTML and "responsive design" skills;
- Familiarities with Next.js and GraphQL;
- Familiarity with REST APIs;
- Familiarity with VSCode, Git, and Bitbucket;
- Strong understanding of SDLC;
- Passionate about new technologies;
- Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision;
- As we provide the majority of our services in 7 provinces in Canada, the candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English to fulfill their duties.
Nice-to-have Experience:
- Experience with Typescript, CSS/Tailwind CSS, GitHub or Vercel/Netlify.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
Schedule: 8-hour shift.
Ability to commute/relocate: Montréal, QC, reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
