Senior IT Project Manager

Here's what we're looking for

We are seeking an experienced IT Product Manager with a strong background in operations and technology. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects within the IT industry. As our IT Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization remains responsive and proactive in managing IT services, reducing negative end-user impact, enhancing user experience, boosting productivity, and mitigating business risks.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the co-founders on high-priority projects, including IT security, third-party integrations, and other critical initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, and effectively managing stakeholders.

Your daily responsibilities

Lead and manage the execution of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines;

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria;

Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting;

Implement effective project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure successful project delivery;

Monitor and track project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies;

Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, ensuring clear expectations and transparent reporting;

Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to the leadership team and stakeholders;

Define KPIs and build dashboards to showcase process improvements over time;

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation;

Document lessons learned and identify areas for continuous improvement through Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management;

Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations (e.g., Bill 96 in Quebec), and emerging technologies in the fintech space to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.

Your skills and experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field;

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management;

Proven track record with methodologies such as Agile or Scrum;

Advanced proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project;

Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment;

Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software, and cloud-based solutions;

Experience in fintech, credit, lending, payment, or SaaS is highly desirable;

Comprehensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle;

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;

Experience in implementing policies and procedures;

Preferred Certifications: PMP, CSM, PSM, SAFe.
