We are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our organization’s success. As an HR Business Partner, you will develop and implement innovative HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with our organizational objectives. Your role will involve optimizing our new employee onboarding program, planning and overseeing integration training, continuous learning, and career development initiatives.
Additionally, you will identify training needs, collaborate closely with managers, and create high-potential employee development programs. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide valuable guidance to managers on training and employee engagement, cultivating a motivated and high-performing team.
Your daily responsibilities
- Handle routine employee queries regarding HR policies and benefits while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of HR services, including onboarding, offboarding, terminations, contract administration, and employee data management in HRIS.
- Develop and implement various initiatives and tools as part of an organizational development by improving efficiency.
- Review, enhance, draft, and develop relevant HR programs, policies, and procedures in line with the current and future needs of the organization.
- Consult with the management team to develop compensation plans, including career progression and ensuring employees are equitably paid through market and equity salary adjustments.
- Define, implement, and monitor key performance indicators aligned with business needs.
- Support managers and their teams in developing and maintaining a strong organizational culture that values principles of innovation.
- Be an expert in the use and maintenance of the HRIS;
- Manage employee performance review cycles and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related communications, such as policy updates, company news, and employee announcements.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively communicated and implemented while maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Work closely with management to address employee relations issues, support conflict resolution, mediate disputes, and provide guidance throughout the process.
- Stay informed by analyzing market trends and best practices to guide practices, processes, programs, and tools, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field;
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience;
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Team player, relationship builder and collaborator;
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management;
- Good knowledge of Quebec Labour Laws;
- Experience with HRIS systems;
- CHRP or CRHA designation is preferred.
